Potential Plus UK’s Chief Executive, Julie Taplin, is participating in a gathering of HELP – High European Learning Potential – a group of individuals and organisations from across Europe that support parents of high potential learners. The event is hosted by another independent charity, The Potential Trust, and takes place at Hawkwood College in Stroud.
Participating countries include the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Italy, as well as the UK.
Julie says: “I want to use the time to find out what other organisations are doing to support high potential learners in their countries, the barriers they need to overcome and/or the support they receive from institutions and wider society, and I would like to explore how we can strengthen the voice of parents across countries to the benefit of these children.”
