Revision Skills for Parents

Price: £30 (incl. VAT)

Expected time to complete: 90 minutes

This course is designed for the parents and carers of young people who are preparing for GCSE and A Level exams. It has been designed with high potential learners in mind, but the strategies are likely to be useful for many young people. It would also be suitable for the young people themselves to watch.

This course will support your child in their preparation for exams, helping to ensure that they enter the exam hall feeling well-prepared, calm and confident. It will cover some common problems and suggest how to overcome these, consider the research to discover which techniques have the biggest impact, and then explain how to use a range of revision strategies.

High potential learners (frequently described as ‘more able’ or ‘gifted and talented’ students in schools) often need to revise differently to their peers, so the course looks at where to focus time and includes tips for students and for parents.
