Opportunity Access Fund

At Potential Plus UK, we know that every child deserves the chance to shine. Yet across the UK, there are thousands of bright, curious children who are held back – not by their abilities, but by barriers they can’t control. Financial obstacles mean many families simply can’t afford our services, even though these children stand to gain the most.

That’s why we created the Opportunity Access Fund. This vital fund fully or partially subsidises our core services for low-income families. From assessments and advice calls to memberships and events, the Opportunity Access Fund ensures that families in need can access the help they deserve.

Our assessments don’t just identify a child’s abilities – they open doors. They provide a detailed profile of a child’s strengths and needs, offering practical recommendations that help parents and carers nurture their child’s talents and confidence.

Our advice calls give families the chance to speak directly to experienced professionals who understand the challenges and joys of supporting high potential. They offer reassurance, guidance and tailored strategies that help families move forward with clarity and confidence.

Our memberships unlock a wealth of resources, including expert-led webinars, downloadable guides and toolkits, and a supportive community that understands and shares the journey of parenting a high potential child.

Our events bring children and families together, creating a space where children can thrive with like-minded peers and families can connect, learn and grow together.

Who Can Apply to the Fund?

The fund is available for families on a low income but is not restricted to those in receipt of benefits.
Families must hold Family Plus Membership/Concessionary Family Plus membership to be eligible to apply to the Opportunity Access Fund. Unfortunately we are not able to offer access to the Opportunity Access Fund for Associate Family Members.
