Dual or Multiple Exceptionality (DME) means having both high learning potential and another condition, or conditions, which hinder your learning (Special Educational Need and Disabilities – SEND). If you have DME, it is really important that you make sure that everyone knows about both your high ability and anything that hinders your learning so that you can get the support that you need.
