With Diwali, Bonfire Night, and other celebrations lighting up the season, this time of year often brings fireworks to our night skies. This blog post from our archive explores a range of fireworks-themed activities and questions designed to spark curiosity and challenge high learning potential (HLP) children.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019ve joined one of our in-person events this year, your child may have already enjoyed stepping outside their comfort zone, building their Skills Builder<\/a> skills and collecting a few stickers along the way! You\u2019ll notice that many of the activities in this blog also link to those same Skills Builder skills. \u00a0<\/strong>Some children find fireworks exciting, colourful and full of amazing science. Other youngsters dislike them because they ‘bang’ so loudly, freak out their pets and pollute the environment. What do you<\/em> think? Do you<\/em> find them scientific or artistic? Musical or historical? Have fun with your thoughts and interests as you try these great activities!<\/p>\n
