The group brought a wide range of experiences, including autism, ADHD,\u00a0dyslexia\u00a0and anxiety, helping to create a project that was inclusive,\u00a0creative\u00a0and shaped by young people, for young people.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, these young people took part in a year-long leadership programme where they worked together on projects that mattered to them. The project celebrates diversity, encourages understanding and helps ensure that more young people can see themselves reflected in stories and creative work.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The young people designed and ran a creative writing and art competition exploring the theme:\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWhat is it like to have high learning potential and think or feel differently, including experiences of autism, ADHD or other learning differences?\u201d<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A huge well done to all the children and young people who took part in the art and writing competition, as well as the young people who led and supported the project.
