Extraversion is one of the “Big 5” broad personality traits that many psychologists agree on and have been supported through research. Each of the five personality traits represents a range between two extremes, therefore Extraversion represents a continuum between extreme introversion to extreme extraversion. Whilst personality traits can change through life and are contextual, it has been noted that a higher proportion of high learning potential people have traits of introversion than do the general population.
