Adrian Harbour offers two traditional puzzles for our 50 Challenges for 50 Years Anniversary Challenge Book series. Adrian was a child with high learning potential and would like children to know that it’s ok to be different and that things can be good in the end.

Challenge 17: Prisoners in the Sand

The first of the puzzles is a traditional prisoners in the sand puzzle. Who can save the day by saying what colour hat they are wearing? Logical deduction is the only way to go! The second puzzle is one that requires you to think outside the box – what solution can you come up with?

Members can download the full 50 Challenges for 50 Years book free of charge (normally £7.50).

A hard copy of the full 50 Challenges for 50 Years is also available for £15.00 (including postage and packaging to UK addresses).

You can track your progress using the Challenge Chart. Once you’ve completed as many challenges as you can, send your chart and the answer to or result of the challenge you enjoyed the most to amazingchildren@potentialplusuk.org and we’ll send you a certificate!

You can find the solution to the first puzzle here and to the second puzzle here .
